In March 2010, my dad passed away and my mom moved in with us. After talking to many people about aging parents, I decided to write this blog – partly as support and partly to document the complexities of life today. I thought it would be “interesting” to document what life is like as mom and daughter live together again … for the first time in 35 years. But you won’t be hearing just from me. Mom will also weigh in when she sees fit.

  1. This is fabulous!!! Does this mean you won’t be here for Thanksgiving???

  2. Mary Ann, My name is Judy and I am friends with Pam&Barry. Pam told me about your blog. My Mom has not moved in with us but she is 85 and we have lots of “Mom stories” as Pam and I like to call them. She might have told you about my Mom loosing her cane in her house. My sister, brother and I looked everywhere and couldn’t find it …..then my nephew opened the fridge and there it was hanging on the inside of the door!!! Be well and have fun.
